Bahrain Licensure Examination</h2> Once your application has gone through the verification process and evaluated, you will receive an email from NHRA to let you know whether you need to take the Bahrain Licensure Examination (BLE) or if you are exempt from it. If you need to take the exam, you will be given an eligibility code. Use the eligibility code to register for the BLE – please note that it is valid for 3 months and is for single-use only. An eligibility code can be reused if an applicant failed the exam. In this instance, it will be reactivated. Take the <a href="https://www.nhra.bh/Departments/HCP/MediaHandler/GenericHandler/documents/departments/HCP/Applications/Licensure%20examination.pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">BLE</a> and wait for the results. Take note that you can only take the exam with the approval of the NHRA. Without authorisation, results will not be accepted for licensure. Previous Prometric results are not acceptable. A pass mark for Nurses is 50% or above, whilst it is set at 60% for Physicians, Dentists, Pharmacists, and Optometrists. <h2>4. Upload the BLE report</h2> Once you get the results of the BLE, upload a copy of your examination report together with your online application. If you pass the exam, your license processing is complete. The process is the same for those who are exempt from it. If you are exempt from the BLE, you will be issued a letter addressed to the <a href="http://lmra.bh/portal/en/page/show/187" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Labor Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA)</a>. If your application (after you upload the passing results) passed, you will also get this letter. Once you get your <a href="http://lmra.bh/portal/files/cms/downloads/english_attachment/Expatriate_Employee_Guide_(English).pdf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">work permit</a> from the LMRA, you need to upload your copy of your CPR, a Health Fitness certificate issued by a licensed facility in Bahrain, and if requested, a Ministry of Education Equalization certificate. <h2>5. Pay online</h2> Pay online. You will get a notice to pay once all your papers have been processed. You will then get a notice that your license is ready for collection.
