<p>If becoming a doctor or a nurse in Saudi Arabia feels like a pipe dream, it really is not and furthermore, it is achievable.</p>
<p>The only thing you need to do is act on it now. Don’t be that nurse or doctor who dreams of having a better life abroad while doing nothing to make it come true. Time will pass you by and the next thing you know, you have a kid going to college and you have no money to make his dreams come true. Just do it one step at a time, after all, you have nothing to lose. For this purpose, I have prepared a simplified guide on how to register as a health practitioner in Saudi Arabia.</p>
<h2>1. Prepare your Documents.</h2>
<p>As always, just like when you apply for a job here in the Philippines, you would need to prepare your documents. Create a clearly scanned copy of your documents, specifically your Transcript of Records, your Certificates of Employment, your PRC board certificate, relevant passport pages, and finally a passport picture. Convert them to a PDF file in preparation to uploading them later. <strong>You would save more in the long-term if you get your PSV Report via <a href="https://blog.trueprofile.io/psv-report-trueprofile-org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">TrueProfile.io</a>.</strong></p>
<h2>2. Create an Account at <a href="https://portal.scfhs.org.sa/en-US/Account/Register" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Mumaris Plus</a></h2>
<p>To make things official, you need to create an account with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialities or Mumaris Plus. They are the governing body for any medical related field, issue, and profession in the Kingdom. You will need an email address and a phone number. Wait for the text message saying that an activation email has been sent or wait for the email itself. Click on the link inside the email body in order to activate your Mumaris account.</p>
<h2>3. Know your classification</h2>
<p>Once your Mumaris Plus account has been activated, go to the page where you can get your <a href="https://www.scfhs.org.sa/en/registration/Regulation/Pages/Doc-Professional-Classification.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">professional classification</a>. Classification determines your level as graded according to your credentials and the evaluation done by <a href="https://www.scfhs.org.sa/en/Registration/faq/Pages/default.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">SCFHS</a>. If you have been accepted by an agency to work in KSA, you would still need to undergo the prometric test and to verify your documents. It’s much cheaper to do it here than to do it in KSA and risk failing the test and then getting deported.</p>
<h2>4. Prometric Exam</h2>

<p>Eligibility for the Prometric Exam is considered after the classification and registration process is completed by the applicant. SCFHS Credentialing team will send out communication with detailed information for the applicants who are required to undergo Prometric Examination. The Philippines have two exam centers and they are Ateneo Professional Schools in Makati, and the Prometric Testing Center in Cebu. <h2>5. DataFlow Verification</h2>
<p>The last stage of Professional Registration Requirement is <a href="http://www.scfhs.org.sa/en/registration/Certificates/Pages/default.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Primary Source Verification</a>. That’s what we do and that’s what you need to undergo if you want to work in Saudi Arabia. Applicants would be asked to provide PSV report issued by TrueProfile.io or DataFlow and provide their Case Reference Number to submit application to SCFHS.</p>
