<p>Most verifications done in the past were subject to a privacy agreement that fully complied with legal provisions at that time. With the advent of the digital age and the need to define and protect personal information, the European Union drafted the <a href="http://theconversation.com/what-does-gdpr-mean-for-me-an-explainer-96630" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)</a>. </p>
<h2>GDPR and its impact on your report</h2>
<p>This means that GDPR restricts the way that a company can use your personal information. For example, you had your PSV report with the DataFlow Group in the past. With GDPR, we can only store your report for a certain period of time. We might need to delete your data after the prescribed time. After that, the page will prompt you to enter your DataFlow Case Number and the passport number associated with it. Once our database has found the match, it will appear as an icon in your Digital CV page. That’s all it takes!</p>
