<h2>The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties</h2>
<p>The <a href="https://www.scfhs.org.sa/en/about/pages/organization.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Saudi Commission for Health Specialties</a>, or better known as the SCFHS (sometimes shortened to SCHS), is the regulating authority that sets the standards for healthcare professionals to practice in the KSA. The SCFHS has a say in anything to do with the medical industry in the KSA. If you’re going to build a hospital, you must coordinate with the SCFHS. If you want to practice a medicine-related profession, you have to register with the SCFHS. If you studied a healthcare course in the KSA to pursue a career in the medical field, the SCFHS would issue your diploma and other credentials. The SCFHS also develops and supervises medical education and health-related programs in line with the general education program.</p>
<h2>Why do you need a Mumaris Plus account?</h2>

<p>As a healthcare professional intending to work in the KSA, you need to have a permit to practice there. The permit comes in the form of a health or medical license. To begin applying for your license, create an account on Mumaris Plus, the unified portal for all SCFHS services for healthcare practitioners. If you have been registered or have an SCFHS profile in the previous Mumaris portal, you can <a href="https://portal.scfhs.org.sa/en-US/Account/GetRegistrationId" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">request to retrieve it</a> using your SCFHS profile number or your National/Iqamah ID. There is no need to create a new account if you already have an old one. If you have previously registered with the SCFHS and already have an email address associated with your account, just click “I forgot my password” on the login page. The Mumaris Plus portal will send you a reset password link for you to log in with.</p>
<h2>How do I sign up to Mumaris Plus?</h2>
<ol>
<li>To sign up for a Mumaris plus account, go to the SCFHS registration page <a href="https://portal.scfhs.org.sa/en-US/Account/Register" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>here</strong></a>.</li>
<li>Register with the same name that’s on your passport or Iqama ID, email address and create a strong password. </li>
<li>You will receive an account verification email where you will need to activate your account. </li>
<li>Once activated, go to the Mumaris Plus login page <a href="https://portal.scfhs.org.sa/en-US/Account/Login" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>here</strong></a> and enter your credentials to log in. </li>
</ol>
<h2>Mumaris Plus account issues</h2>
<p>If you encounter any issues or problems using the portal, all you have to do is create a ticket on the <a href="https://scfhs.org.sa/en/tawasul" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Tawasul-Mumaris+</a> page, previously known as ‘Tawasul.’ If you get locked out of your Mumaris Plus account, you don’t need to create a ticket here. All you need to do is wait for 15 minutes, after which your account suspension will be lifted and you will be able to log back into your account. For any other issues, create a ticket in Tawasul<em>–</em><a href="https://www.scfhs.org.sa/en/eservices/Pages/MumarisPlusTawasul.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Mumaris+</a>.</p>
<h2>Credentials and document verification</h2>
<ol>
<li>If you earned your degree outside Saudi Arabia, your credentials need to undergo <a href="https://www.dfgateway.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Primary Source Verification (PSV)</a> from the DataFlow Group, to which TrueProfile.io belongs. </li>
<li>You can <a href="https://blog.trueprofile.io/get-dataflow-four-easy-steps-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">verify your documents</a> with TrueProfile.io and submit them via the Mumaris Plus portal. </li>
<li>After your credentials are verified, TrueProfile.io issues a <a href="https://blog.trueprofile.io/trueproofs-what-can-you-do-with-your-verified-documents/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">TrueProof</a> – it is a PSV report that you own, which you can transfer to any authority that you choose. </li>

<h2>Classification, registration and assessment</h2>
<p>In order to obtain your license to practice your profession, your field of study should be classified into one of the SCFHS’s <a href="https://www.scfhs.org.sa/en/registration/Pages/QualificationsListForm.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">recognized qualifications</a>. If your field of study is not on the official SCFHS list, you can apply to have it recognized. Once you have your classification, registration comes next, along with the submission of the requirements. The requirements include your TrueProof, fees, and a passing rate from your <a href="https://blog.trueprofile.io/3-steps-getting-prometric-scfhs/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Prometric exam</a>.
