This growth means that Saudi needs to hire international healthcare professionals to help achieve and support their vision. </p>

<p>In 2021, KSA launched the ‘<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://www.vision2030.gov.sa/v2030/vrps/hstp/" target="_blank">Health Sector Transformation Program</a>’ (HTSP) to restructure its healthcare system to focus on patient satisfaction, safety, and care. KSA hopes to continue the development of healthcare services by, “implementing and following the best evidence-based international standards, establishing and enabling integrated health care systems that cover all regions of the Kingdom by activating meaningful procurement of services and enhancing societal awareness of traffic and safety.” </p>
<p>The updated value-based care, “ensures transparency and financial sustainability by promoting public health and preventing diseases.” The vision also aims to improve access to services by digitizing the health sector by expanding e-health services, like telemedicine, launching digital applications (<a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://mawidstf.moh.gov.sa/" target="_blank">Mawid</a> and <a rel="noreferrer noopener" href="https://sehaty.sa/en/home" target="_blank">Sehaty</a>), and increasing service coverage throughout the country. KSA aims to unify 100% of the population’s medical records through digital systems. </p>
<p><strong>The HTSP will focus on the following four key objectives:</strong></p>
<ol><li>Facilitating access to healthcare services</li><li>Improving the quality and efficiency of health services</li><li>Promoting prevention of health risks</li><li>Enhancing traffic safety</li></ol>
